Why is ad aware se not updating Women only for sex chat
I find that my VRDB was last updated on 1st Feb, 2005 at local time. From the help menu I gather that it is supposed to get updated automatically every three weeks. It would have been easier to buy the thing, but it has worked so well. It's a great free ware program but all the supposed help, forums, together are useless.I guess that I wasn't paying attention, and I knew nothing of SE 106 no longer being supported, until after reading here.In short, I went to run A-A on the weekend, and it reported my defs way out of date.My definitions are 128 days old and when I try updating them I get "Error retrieving update". If I have to sign up for one more blog that is useless I'm going to pop my top. Like these other people I'm having big trouble downloading the latest version, only different. My system is locked down in every means possible (HOSTS, immunization, etc) but why is this happenning? Hello, if the version of Ad Aware you are using is Ad Aware SE, support and updates ended the first of this year. I have been using SE1R129 core app.1.106r1 & after trying everything from Lavasoft thru Cnet download I can only end up with version SE1R210 & I still get the 45 days old error.

I found that my problem with updating Ad-Aware was due to me having elected to use Open DNS, which is a free DNS service.
When I set my internet connection to use that, it causes the "Error in retrieving update" message in Ad-Aware.
Updating thru the prog returned an error, so I went right to Lavasoft's site, here: » ··· er/blog/Not realizing 106 had been discontinued, I hit the green button (for SE defs) and dl'd the ref file. A-A loaded it with no errors or warnings, and then even ran a scan, and found a few items.
Looking at the A-A details, it shows Although I purchased SE Plus a number of years ago and was happy with it for quite awhile, I now only use Ad Aware as on-demand and don't use the Ad Watch function at all as KIS7 has the same capability.
